‘The Online Companion’ Team
Cara Flanagan lives and works in the Scottish Highlands, looking out over a beautiful loch. She taught for about 20 years and then ‘retired’ to take up a second career as an examiner, author and conference speaker. She now runs her own company, Southwest Conferences. She has three children who, despite appearances, are actually all taller than her by now.
Ade Frost has lurked around in the world of A-Level Psychology for over 15 years in various roles such as teacher, senior examiner, manager, author and conference speaker. He has three kids and has promised his clever, attractive wife he will never help write a book again.
Evie Bentley lives and works in Sussex, near Brighton, and Herault in France. She taught in schools and then in a F.E. college but now writes, advises West Sussex Adult Education about Psychology, and runs her own psychotherapy business. She’s interested in lots of areas including the brain and physiological psychology, evolutionary psychology, and cats (currently she has three).
Claire Beatt works for Oxford University Press and is the Marketing Campaign Manager for their Secondary Psychology list.
Mike Cardwell has taught psychology since 1975 and has been at Bath Spa University since 1997. He is currently Senior Lecturer in psychology, and his specialist area is Social Psychology. He also leads other modules, including the Social Psychology of Peace and Conflict course. Mike is a widely published textbook author and experienced conference speaker.
Rick Jackman works as a publisher on the OUP psychology list, supporting the Humanities publisher Sarah Flynn. He’s worked with Cara and Mike on the Complete Companion series since they were merely a glimmer in the eye, over ten years ago! This series has finally found the home it truly deserves.
